Our Favorite Beach trips

Our itineraries will be growing as we build our Blog. Visit us often to see what’s new.

Any day can be a beach day! Each season is unique. While the sun-warmed days of summer are most loved, we love September – it’s still Summer! And days throughout the Fall we love to combine a beach walk with one of the many Fall festivals. Winter brings a special glory in the colors of the sky, clouds and ocean. The beach is the perfect antidote to beat the short days – bundle up for an invigorating walk and fill up with natural light and vitamin D. Spring’s teaser warm days brings the anticipation of summer and vacations. We are so ready to emerge from the winter, a beach getaway, even an afternoon can feel like a “spring break”.

In the off season we will call out festivals or special events that can tie in with your beach trip.

We hope we have inspired you. What are you waiting for?!

Cape Cod

Cape Cod has a rich and diverse landscape of beaches, ponds, and marshes. It is sometimes referred to as the outer “arm” of Massachusetts, actually an island from the mainland, formed when the Cape Cod Canal was built in 1914. When talking about Cape Cod travel, it is often described as the Lower, Upper, Mid Cape – or, “above or below the elbow”. And in peak season, it’s travel talk is all about the bridges! The Sagamore and Bourne. Our best word of advice – be strategic about travelling to the Cape!

The posts we are including are in the Lower and Outer Cape towns, consisting of Harwich, Brewster, Chatham and Orleans, Outer Cape: Wellfleet, Truro, Eastham, and Provincetown.

Rhode Island, “The Ocean State”

RI, the smallest state in the US, is aptly named the “Ocean State”, home to some of the prettiest beaches in New England. From Narragansett and the quaint Watch Hill, to destination Newport, and Little Compton, there’s a perfect spot for every beach lover. Rhode Island’s coastline offers a year-round seaside experience, where the ocean is always a short drive away.

Maine…the way life should be

Traveling along Maine’s picturesque coastline you’ll find charming seaside towns with beaches ranging from the southern sandy shores of York and old-time carousel of Old Orchard Beach to the peninsulas of mid-coast to the less traveled, unspoiled beauty of Lubec, the Bold Coast.
