Cape Cod

Cape Cod is home to miles and miles of beaches and quaint towns.  From the natural tidal shifts at the Brewster Flats, to the quaint town of Chatham for that quintessential Cape Cod coastal charm experience, to the dramatic landscape and unspoiled beaches of the Cape Cod National Seashore, there is a beach for everyone.

We’ve spent years exploring the Cape and want to share our favorites with you – the popular beach destinations as well as unspoiled hidden gems.

For those of you not familiar with Cape Cod, here’s a quick guide to orient you. The Cape is the shape of a bent arm and is referred to as the Upper, Mid, Lower and Outer Cape, areas found “above or below” the elbow. In the prime summer season, the travel talk is all about “the bridges” and the traffic, the Bourne and the Sagamore. From Friday to Sunday night, traffic is usually backed up. Our advice is to plan your travel early mornings and later evenings during this time.

What are the best beaches on the Cape? We think they all offer something a little different. Some more popular and some hidden gems that take a little planning to find – but the adventure is always more to enjoy!

We hope our blog will inspire you to find the beach that you want to explore, we will make it fun and easy.

So, grab your beach bag and let’s go to the beach!
